Taking screen shots is not all it’s cracked up to be! I should attach one here as an example!
There’s only one area that users can possibly have trouble with in iExpression, and that’s the hook-up with http://www.expressionengine.com”>ExpressionEngine... Can’t find a pretty place to put the “help” button where it’s also exactly (and I mean exactly) where you’d expect it to be. All the documentation is writen, but it has no place to go… I guess I’m going to put it somewhere obviously and ugly (better than frustrated users!) but can’t help but feel like I’ve failed.

I don’t doubt that we will miss some things, but really enjoying closing out iExpression at the moment. Slowly going around the outstanding items and clearing up the issues is proving very enjoyable. The whole thing is feeling very simple… And very slick. Really hope you guys like it as much as we do!

You simply have to read the tweets from the CERN crew as they got the LHC working… Well done to all involved CERN!

Well at last I have my two new features neatly integrated, and I kind of love them! There is more that sprang to mind whilst adding these, but mindful of the month long delay as a result of my last set of ideas… I’ve left them out for now.
Once the polish is done it will be time to start on the documentation , but I’ll stop being coy about what this App is then…

Well, still working away on those two features. The reality is I’m very glad I’ve added them, I think they add a lot of value to the product. However, they’ve taken me on a very unexptected journey.
In short I’ve ended up changing how several things are done within the tool. I’m absolutely certain it’s for the best, but I’m only just finishing the first of these two features (well, short of the initial prototypes) tonight after going back and reworking everything.
Proving tricky to make seamless. Will give them a day to feel part of the tool…

Fingers slipped whilst crossing off the last 3 items from the to-do list. Resulted in adding some neat tracking features. You can see click-throughs and retweets… Noice ![]()
It takes much longer to polish than it does to saw… Actually enjoying making things work as well as they can. It’s nice to see it really coming together. The really great thing? I’m looking forward to using this tool in my daily life, it works really well!
