Update: This has already been resolved in ExpressionEngine 2.1.1. Only users using ExpressionEngine 2.1 who cannot yet update to 2.1.1 need to consider the fix below.
We have identified an issue in ExpressionEngine’s Channel Entry API that can stop users with at least one required field in ANY field group being able to post entries in any category. We have reported this to EllisLabs but have a fix available for any iExpression user that is affected. Please use the contact form on this site, or the Contact Support button within iExpression. It’s a very simple fix to apply. We’ve also supplied the fix to EllisLabs so we hope this will be addressed in the next build.
